During his time at Briarcliffe, Mr. Agolia taught a wide variety of undergraduate coursework, including Introduction to Law, Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure, Introduction to Criminal Justice, Torts, Corporations, Critical Thinking and Introduction to Philosophy, among many others. Mr. Agolia oversaw the event of the College’s Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, which launched in 2013. Becoming a Lawyer introduces college students to the idea of the legal professional persona, and helps college students define and develop their skilled personas. We will take a look at foundations for a powerful and sustainable skilled, professionalism from the inside (self-management), and professionalism from the surface (relationships). Fundamental Lawyering Skills supplies alternatives for participants to follow their interviewing, client counseling, and negotiating skills.
